Army Public Schools (APS)
FWO has shown remarkable achievements in different areas and fields that leads it towards excellence. FWO is also making endeavors to contribute significantly in the most important education sector in Pakistan. FWO has established five quality educational institutions including 3 x APSs and 2 x Model Schools (FMS) furnished with hi-tech computer labs, well equipped laboratories, well-stocked libraries, spacious auditorium, classy music rooms, day care facilities, lush green play grounds/ sports fields, fitness center, sick room and much more.
These schools have a total strength of 8,576 students with professionally competent teaching faculty and administrative staff.
Construction Technology And Training Institute (CTTI)
Construction Technology Training Institute (CTTI), was established as Construction Machinery Training Centre (CMTC) in 1986 with the assistance of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and was formally inaugurated in 1989.
In 1992, with the commencement of first diploma course in Mechanical Technology, CMTC was upgraded as Construction Machinery Training Institute (CMTI). Later, with addition of three more diploma courses in August 2004 CMTI was renamed as Construction Technology Training Institute (CTTI).
Currently CTTI offers 6 diploma courses in Engineering and Non Engineering programs along with 43 related short courses.
Tunneling Institute of Pakistan (TIP)
Tunneling Institute of Pakistan is a state of the art facility established in the capital city Islamabad to promote and advance tunneling practices in Pakistan. The institute has been established to help practioners in all stages of tunnel construction i.e, feasibility, planning, designing, execution and construction supervision.
Modern project management tools like BIM are also being integrated into construction methodology to monitor progress and detect conflicts in design.
Tunneling Institute of Pakistan aims to introduce and implement modern construction technologies and provide a platform for augmenting the comprehension level of stakeholders in Pakistan to meet the evolving standards of construction industry at international level.
